Elements for Polymer 2
Polymer was announced at Google I/O last week and Vaadin Elements are being updated to use it. The update will make Vaadin Elements faster and more interoperable with other frameworks and tools. We are also working on expanding the component set to become a stand-alone set of themeable components. Read more about the roadmap here.
Grid comparison
After releasing Vaadin Grid 2.0 last month, we wanted to see how it stacks up against other framework agnostic data grids out there. See the results and live examples of each on our grid comparison page.
Vaadin 8 on the road
To highlight the Vaadin 8 release, we wanted to spread the word and visit JUGs and Vaadin meetup groups to tell more about it. So far we have visited 17 places from Spain to St. Louis, and talked with hundreds of Java developers. A perfect example of feedback being: "Web page made with frontend and backend in less than 30 minutes! #Java #vaadin #vaadin8".
